West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking candidates to fill the position of Principal.  Desired qualifications are a Master’s degree in Administration or related field, a minimum of five years teaching experience, with experience in administration at the secondary level, practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with their parish and strong academic credentials.

Established in 1962, West Catholic High School strives to educate their 500 plus students in spirit, mind and body and was named one of the Top 50 Catholic high schools in America for 2010-11 by the Acton Institute.  The students come primarily from the metropolitan Grand Rapids area, including urban, suburban and rural areas with an extensive range in socio-economic backgrounds.  Students at West Catholic log over 20,000 of community service annually and 80 percent of the students participate in extracurricular activities.  On average, 98 percent of our students enroll in colleges, universities and military academies after graduation and garner millions of dollars in scholarship offers.
